    This is a very good Matcha, and of course, it is Organic which is comforting. This is a very good high quality Matcha but does not beat the "100" for smoothness. It is half the cost so I do drink this fine Matcha daily and break out the "100" for special occasions.

    i've been enjoying Breakaway for awhile, but this was my first experience with the organic 94. it's wonderful! nicely balanced flavor, great mouthfeel & lingering on the palate.

How to prepare a brilliant cup of matcha

make the perfect cup of matcha

  • boil water, and let it cool for 3 to 5 minutes
  • warm your cup with hot water while you prepare the matcha
  • place sieve over creamer or mug
  • add one heaping scoop (1/2 teaspoon, or 1 g) to the sieve, and sift
  • pour about an inch of hot water (about 2 ounces)
  • whisk for 10 seconds or so, tilt the creamer slightly to make thicker foam
  • swirl, and pour the matcha into your heated cup
  • add a little more hot water to creamer, swirl, and add to cup

STORAGE: always keep your matcha refrigerated until ready to use
